Waiting for Godot

Waiting for Godot is an absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly and in vain for the arrival of someone named Godot. Godot's absence, as well as numerous other aspects of the play, have led to many interpretations since the play's 1953 premiere. It was voted "the most significant English language play of the 20th century". Waiting for Godot is Beckett's translation of his own original French version, En attendant Godot, and is subtitled (in English only) "a tragicomedy in two acts"

After watching the movie ( Waiting for Godot ) it is a little positive film because they both are waiting means they are living in a HOPE. Hope is a kind of good thing but meaningless hope is like wasting time. Both characters waiting for Godot meaninglessly.

There is a symbol of tree shows that life is going on it is positive message from tree but Valdimir and Estragon are staying there at the same place with same question about Godot or his coming. They wont be change. The character of Lucky and Pozzo as master slave relationship , Lucky blindly follows Pozzo . We can say that even Pozzo was blind Lucky couldn't get freedom from slavery. Mastery of Pozzo is strongly appeared here. The behavior of lucky is very irritating and boring but it happened because he was slave.

thank you...
