To The Light House

To the Lighthouse is a 1927 novel by Virginia Woolf. The novel centres on the Ramsays and their visits to the Isle of Skye in Scotland between 1910 and 1920.
Following and extending the tradition of modernist novelists like Marcel Proust and James Joyce, the plot of To the Lighthouse is secondary to its philosophical introspection. Cited as a key example of the stream-of-consciousness literary technique, the novel includes little dialogue and almost no action; most of it is written as thoughts and observations. The novel recalls childhood emotions and highlights adult relationships.

1. Here Virginia Woolf put her ideas about human relationship with the help of features of stream of consciousness technique in that she gives different styles like interior monologue , struggle of people in society , their minds and moods etc. Virginia wrote this novel as a part of her life , she also felt like this what and she can understand these feelings very well.  To the lighthouse is a novel of " journey of emotions ",complexity of thoughts also. Here she wanted to say about healthy relations which she lost in her life as it happened with Mr and Mrs. Ramsay.

2.  Yes , Mrs. Ramsay is a good wife and good mother. According to Virginia Mrs. Ramsay is drawn as a loving and responsible woman in that novel. She always cares about her family members. Though she has eight children but she always behaved very calmly. Her role is in the center of this novel which is attached by all the family members including Lily also. Mrs. Ramsay is dutiful and she has an ability to live with her selfish husband happily. So as a housewife and according to her character the novel critique and tribute her.

3. Here in the novel there are many symbols but two main are regarding Lily and Mrs. Ramsay. As per the novel and symbolism Lighthouse more stand for Lily , because Lily has more struggle than Mrs. Ramsay. As we can say that family problem is not so painful rather than social problem. Mrs. Ramsay as a good housewife has only struggle with her husband but Lily has to bear the different critical ideas of society specially regarding her painting.

4. Two myths are there :- Oedipus myth and Pagan myth.
In to the light house both myths are useful in interpreting the novel as a symbol of window and lighthouse. A we know from window we can get freshness and feeling free in our life. Lighthouse gives light and saves people during st roam. Both symbols represents male and female according to their duty in society.

5. To the lighthouse is “ Kunstlerroman “ novel by Virginia Woolf.  Kunstlerroman mean a novel of an artist. Artist’s novel also called. In that Lily shows her are of painting. An artists have their own personality due to his/her art. But here Lily is marginalized by people because at that time people thought that women couldn't be a painter. So that here Lily’s god gifted quality made her to do struggle with the society and make herself proved. Lily also proved herself. So that To the lighthouse is also Kunstlerroman novel.

6. Last line shows satisfaction of novel as the end of Lily’s confusion and novel also. Its end is not clear but the confusion of Lily regarding Mrs. Ramsay is almost clear.
I have had my vision. Means now Lily understood that nobody can be like others. She is right on her place and she will never be like Mrs. Ramsay.

The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code is a 2003 mystery-detective novel by Dan Brown. It follows symbologist Robert Langdon and cryptologist Sophie Neveu after a murder in the Louvre Museum in Paris, when they become involved in a battle between the Priory of Sion and Opus Dei over the possibility of Jesus having been married to Mary Magdalene. The title of the novel refers, among other things, to the finding of the first murder victim in the Grand Gallery of the Louvre, naked and posed like Leonardo da Vinci's famous drawing, the Vitruvian Man, with a cryptic message written beside his body and a pentagram drawn on his chest in his own blood.

In narration Suspense Thriller is a kind of genre in literature. Which creates tension , suspense and excitement. Sometimes it creates terror , surprise and anxiety also. But it all thing s related with viewer 's mind and moods while watching any film and reading books. Thriller is also connected with mindset of people , psychology , crimes and mystery. There are many example of this genre films like Titanic , The Terminator , Die Hard , King Kong etc….
In Conspiracy theory there is a matter of group of people who are planning secret and actions for harmful or illegal events. And Conspiracy Fiction is related with Thriller event with more complexity and historical facts regarding any work.
In this movie Dan Brown shows his positive ideas regarding Christianity with the help and explanation f different paintings of Vinci. There is matter of faith not any other ideas of anti-Christianity .But while knowing the character of Silas there is a question about faith and anti- Christian. How he believes in Christianity and killed his own parents. Here is a matter of change of Christianity.
Holy Grail is a myth. No one can say that where it is and it existing or not ?In this movie Holy Grail is very important part regarding the paintings of Vinci. Characters of movie tried a lot to find out Holy Grail from Paintings and from many different things like Rose Line , between pyramid etc… Here Vinci’s painting is not related with Holy Grail but it is shown a talented mindset of Vinci and a beautiful creation by him. His paintings is a symbol of Christianity as well as puzzles and different secrets and mysteries of his own personal life. Different Symbolists tried to solve that with their own knowledge and ideas and experiences also.
Sophie’s character is strong rather than Hester  and Ophelia. Because both female characters are very different presented from novel in movie. Both Hester and Ophelia have courage to prove their love but Sophie is more talented than them. She solved many puzzles with the help of her knowledge and as she is good cryptologist. I think she is main protagonist of this novel The Da Vinci Code.

One Night @ The Call Center

One Night @ the Call Center is a novel written by Chetan Bhagat and first published in 2005. The novel revolves around a group of six call center employees working at the Connexions call center in Gurgaon, Haryana. It takes place during the span of one night, during which all of the leading characters confront some aspect of themselves or their lives they would like to change. The story takes a dramatic and decisive turn through a literal deus ex machina, when the characters receive a phone call from God.

1. Yes I am agree with that question about Bhagat has a talent for tapping into the Zeitgeist because his works represent today's life and current situations. It is like spirit of age and time comes through out Chetan Bhagat's work. Chetan Bhagat's other works also mainly based on education of India and problems of India it doesn't mean that the main power and inner strength of youth is weak.To work in one call center is may be character's matter of interest also. we cant judge them as a weak matter.

2. As per this novel there are many characters work together but they have their individual mindset about God. To believe in God and to realize God is different thing. Here as work is worship but sometimes we cant find out some ways on the base of our intelligent mind an that time our inner voice or strength may help us as in this novel - a call of God.. So it may be our inner voice or help of God. But it is cleat that in the life somehow we are not ready to judge ourselves that time this thing help us a lot.

3. In a matter of Globalization , there are many advantages of that. people should interact and integrate among other people of the world. In this novel the language English is very important weapon , which should help people for better communication and for better future of India.

4. According to dues ex machine and another movie Life of Pi , there is a matter of prologue and epilogue . Appearance of God and suddenly some changes in the story is very important matter. Here in both story God's matter is like climax.

5. This novel One night @ the call center covered many issues of India like education , money , marriage , relationship and also a matter of nationalism. It is totally connected with Youth life and gives many messages also regarding these characters.

6. Ya. the call from God is very important part in this novel. it is one kind of faith. I am believing so that i can speak about God and faith or in other matter it is call our inner voice also. But in this novel a call from God is very meaningful matter by Bhagat , because of people of India and their mindset.

7. At last Vroom knows India and America very well so that on a base of theme of anti american idea he wanted some changes in India.

Thank you

Sense of an ending

The Sense of an Ending is a 2011 novel written by British author Julian Barnes. The book is Barnes' eleventh novel written under his own name (he has also written crime fiction under the pseudonym Dan Kavanagh) and was released on 4 August 2011 in the United Kingdom. The Sense of an Ending is narrated by a retired man named Tony Webster, who recalls how he and his clique met Adrian Finn at school and vowed to remain friends for life. When the past catches up with Tony, he reflects on the paths he and his friends have taken. In October 2011, The Sense of an Ending was awarded the Man Booker Prize. The following month it was nominated in the novels category at the Costa Book Awards.

Here in this novel the secret of Baby is very important thing. baby is solving the whole problems and shows many secrets.
First of all  the equation: b = s – v x/+ a1 or a2 + v + a1 X s = b?
It means B = Baby , V= Veronica , A1 = Adrin , A2 = Anthony , S= Sarah.
So that finally we have to know after solving this equation that Veronica has no baby she has a boy from his boy friend. So that this baby????
Baby = Adrin + Sarah Ford.

The main secret is solving by baby and the hidden relationship between Sarah and Adrin.
Adrin's diary willed to Tony by Sarah because may be as a mother she felt very jealousy about Veronica's relationship or wanted to interfere in her happy life or something else with Tony.
Veronica's relation with Adrin as a boy friend and girl friend so there is missing block about Adrin's suicide.. may be because of Veronica but as he had relation with Sarah sothat problems also created with Sarah not from Veronica. Finally may be Adrin felt guilty for pragnancy of Sarah so that it may be a reason of suicide. Another matter is that Tony told something to Adrin about Veronica's character when he was with her, so it may be that to select a wrong person.
now Veronica 's character , so she is like " Fruit cake ". No one can judge her mind or personality as Tony and Adrin also.it may be happen because of her family atmosphere and specially her mother.
tony as unreliable narrator we can't say because he wrote which he knew and felt from all over life.

Thank you

The Birthday party

Worksheet of The Birthday party :

 The Birthday party

The Birthday Party (1957) is the second full-length play by Harold Pinter and one of Pinter's best-known and most-frequently performed plays. After its hostile London reception almost ended Pinter's playwriting career, it went on to be considered "a classic"

Pinter's this play " The Birthday Party " is best example of comedy of menace because in that there is joke of Stanley's birthday even there is no birthday of him. But in a topic of his fake birthday Lulu an innocent girl became victim by a man during this party. So there is a joke with horror of darkness. Darkness of room and scream of Lulu also shows feminist view and darkness of society.
Another matter is about Newspaper , so we all know that from newspaper a person can get information but Petey is totally unaware from two unknown persons. It is vary shameful matter .
Another matter of putting " Silence " and " Pause " in movie so its very good idea to satire on scenes silently , in a hidden way.
From this play till the end and idea of fake birthday is very meaningless. it shows absurdity like " Waiting For Godot ". No idea about unknown person and Stanley's character also.

Thank you

Waiting for Godot

Waiting for Godot is an absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly and in vain for the arrival of someone named Godot. Godot's absence, as well as numerous other aspects of the play, have led to many interpretations since the play's 1953 premiere. It was voted "the most significant English language play of the 20th century". Waiting for Godot is Beckett's translation of his own original French version, En attendant Godot, and is subtitled (in English only) "a tragicomedy in two acts"

After watching the movie ( Waiting for Godot ) it is a little positive film because they both are waiting means they are living in a HOPE. Hope is a kind of good thing but meaningless hope is like wasting time. Both characters waiting for Godot meaninglessly.

There is a symbol of tree shows that life is going on it is positive message from tree but Valdimir and Estragon are staying there at the same place with same question about Godot or his coming. They wont be change. The character of Lucky and Pozzo as master slave relationship , Lucky blindly follows Pozzo . We can say that even Pozzo was blind Lucky couldn't get freedom from slavery. Mastery of Pozzo is strongly appeared here. The behavior of lucky is very irritating and boring but it happened because he was slave.

Oliver Twist

Oliver Twist

Oliver Twist, subtitled The Parish Boy's Progress, is the second novel by English author Charles Dickens, published by Richard Bentley in 1838. The story is about an orphan, Oliver Twist, who endures a miserable existence in a workhouse and then is placed with an undertaker. He escapes and travels to London where he meets the Artful Dodger, leader of a gang of juvenile pickpockets. Naïvely unaware of their unlawful activities, Oliver is led to the lair of their elderly criminal trainer Fagin.
Oliver Twist is notable for Dickens's unromantic portrayal of criminals and their sordid lives.

Oliver Twist as we know as an orphan child so from his character we can understand the situations from those time  " Victorian age ". As this age is full of crimes and social issues regarding orphan children and also for women. Best example is Oliver and his mother. How he treated as a slave by rich owners and finally how he lived forcefully with Fagin , a god of thief. Culture and time make Oliver bad person , a pickpocket and doing also different crimes.

After coming to back it's not called a safe journey for Oliver , because here Oliver is a rich object for the people of society so that they never allowed him to live his way and his life safely being by people of Victorian age.

Thank you.

Hamlet

The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, often shortened to Hamlet , is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare at an uncertain date between 1599 and 1602. Set in the Kingdom of Denmark, the play dramatists the revenge Prince Hamlet is instructed to enact on his uncle Claudius. Claudius had murdered his own brother, Hamlet's father King Hamlet, and subsequently seized the throne, marrying his deceased brother's widow, Hamlet's mother Gertrude.
Hamlet is Shakespeare's longest play and among the most powerful and influential tragedies in English literature, with a story capable of "seemingly endless retelling and adaptation by others." The play seems to have been one of Shakespeare's most popular works during his lifetime.

Hamlet by William Shakespeare and movie by Dir. Kenneth Branagh both have their qualities in performing the character of Hamlet.  As we learn something through video ,Audio or our experience this learning skill never be removed from our mind. First shakespeare's long book of Hamlet scared me a lot but after watching the movie i can understand it very well and briefly also. Here i am going to give the answers of the questions.

(1) The movie is very faithful to the original play. In          movie Kenneth Branagh's overall work is very noticeable and beautiful. The scenes of palace, war and characters are very nice. It's like a play's aliveness in 21cen. in a new way. Its totally changed by Kenneth Branagh. I like the scene " ophelia's madness and her drowned death " Its very tragic end of ophelia .Kenneth Branagh showed it very well.

(2) yes I noticed three changes in the movie. first while ophelia's madness there was a force of water on ophelia and she had one hidden key in her mouth. And in last after Hamlet's death the scene of  statue and the name plate of Hamlet were broken.

(3)  yes I felt "Aesthetic delight" when Claudius died and when Hamlet cried a little when he came to know about Ophelia's death.

(4) In the scene of Ophelia's madnees and death I felt"Catharsis"
because she became mad and  Hamlet didn't care about it even after her death.

(5) yes of course the screening of movies help us a lot in better understanding of the play. While examination some important dialogues we can remember it very well and they will help us to write the answer easily. And also from the character we can now easily analysis all the characters and can write a short notes on them briefly.

(6) In "cherish" moment i want to add a scene of Ophelia's trust and love for Hamlet , and Hamlet's cruelness.

(7) I like the last question very well. If i am a director of Hamlet,,,first I would like to add one song. Then I change the scene of Ophelia's death , In my movie Ophelia never dies even she will watch the death of Hamlet.
Then in my movie I shown Ophelia as a other country's princess.

                 Thank you..
