Clara - The birthday wish

 આ વાત છે એક એવા દિવસ ની જે ઇતિહાસ માં યાદગાર છે, વાત છે અનોખા જન્મ ની, વાત છે બદલાવ ની અને વાત છે કુદરત સાથે માણસ ના જોડાણ ની. 

બ્લુ મૂન ની મધ્યરાત્રી હતી તારાઓ જાણે ચંદ્ર નો નેકલેસ બન્યા હોય તેવા લાગતા હતા.  એક દંપતી ઉતાવળા પગે હોસ્પિટલ માં દાખલ થયું.  જોઈને તો એવું લાગતું હતું જાણે સ્વયં વનદેવી નો અવતાર હોય તેવી સ્ત્રી કેવા સરસ બાળક ને જન્મ આપશે! મુખ પર અનેક આશાઓ અને હૃદય માં આનંદ સાથે પતિ એ પત્ની ને લેબર રૂમ માં જતા જોઈ . અમુક કલાકો માં તો મધ જેવો મીઠો સૂર સંભળાવા માંડ્યો. અને થોડીક જ વાર માં ફૂલ જેવી પરી ના દર્શન થયા તેની સાથે જ સૂર્ય ની પહેલી કિરણ જાણે તેનું સ્વાગત કરતી હોય તેમ બારી માંથી પસાર થઈ ને અંદર આવી અને બહાર પક્ષીઓના કિલકિલાટ થવા માંડ્યા. બારી ની બહાર પતંગિયા ઉડવા માંડ્યા. અદભુત જન્મોત્સવ!! જેમાં વગર કોઈ વસ્તુ એ નાની બાળકી નું કુદરતએ સ્વાગત કર્યું જાણે એમાં કંઈક વિશિષ્ટ હશે ??

ચાલો જોઈએ શું ખાસ છે એ બાળકી ક્લેરા માં . 

હા તેનું નામ કલેરા. નાનપણ થી જ ખુબ ચંચળ, એકદમ શાર્પ મગજ અને એકટીવ પણ જોરદાર. કલેરા ના જન્મ બાદ હું તમને ડાયરેક્ટ તેના બાળપણમાં લઈ જાવ છું. બધા મિત્રો માં કલેરા એક જ જુદી તરી આવે માત્ર લૂક થી નહી પણ સ્વભાવ થી પણ. ચંચળ સ્વભાવ સાથે પ્રકૃતિ પ્રેમી . કોઈ સાથે ના આવે તો એકલા ગાર્ડન માં જવાનું અને કોઈ એક ઝાડ નીચે બેસી તેના પાંદડા ગણવાના !!!! જાણે એ ઝાડ જ તેને બોલાવતું હોય તેમ તે ખેંચાય ને ચાલી જાય. માત્ર ઝાડ જ નહી ગાર્ડન નું બધું જ તેને પ્રિય. એટલે જ એના પેરેન્ટ્સે તેને ઘર માં નાનું ગાર્ડન બનાવી દીધું પણ કલેરા ને વિશાળ ગાર્ડન જ પસંદ. એમાંથી સૌથી પ્રિય પતંગિયા . ક્લેરા એક જગ્યા એ શાંતિ થી બેસે અને પતંગિયા આપમેળે તેની આજુ બાજુ આવી જાય અને કલાકો કાઢી નાખે જાણે તેની સાથે શું સબંધ હશે ?

ક્લેરા ના ઘર થી થોડું દૂર એક નાનકડું જંગલ આવેલું . દરેક વખતે તેને તે જંગલ આકર્ષતું , ત્યાં જવાનું બહુ મન થાય પણ પેરેન્ટ્સ ના પાડે . તે દરરોજ ઘર ની છત પરથી જંગલ ને જોવાનો પ્રયાસ કરતી . એની આંખો ત્યાં જવા માટે તરસતી અને જાણે જંગલ પણ એની રાહ જોતું હોય!! કલેરા ની દરેક સવાર સાંજ આમ જ પસાર થતી આંખો માં કંઈક અધૂરા સપના ને મન ની અધૂરી વાતો.

બાળકો ને મોલ માં જવાનુ અતિ પ્રિય હોય છે આજે કલેરા ને ફર્સ્ટ ટાઈમ મોલ માં લઈ ગયા ચકચકિત મોલ જોઈ ને કલેરા તો આશ્ચર્ય માં મુકાય ગઈ. જોકે પપ્પા એ કીધું છે જે પસંદ આવે તે લઈ લેવાનું. કલેરા જુદા જુદા વિભાગ માં બધું જોતી ગઈ  ને લેતી ગઈ તેની ચોઈસ તો જુઓ!!! અલગ અલગ કેટલાય ફ્રૂટ જ્યુસ ના કેન ભેગા કર્યા. અને ફ્લાવર ની ડિઝાઇન વાળી હેર પિન. મમ્મી એ તેના આગળ રહેતા ઊંચા વાળ ને દબાવી ને પિન નાખી દીધી.સુંદર કલેરા ખુશ થઈ ગઈ.  આવી જ રીતે તેની બધી શોપિંગ કંઈક અલગ જ હોય. જેમ જેમ તે મોટી થતી તેમ તેનું childish વર્તન તો બદલાયું પણ ચોઈસ તો આવી જ રહી. આજે કલેરા દસ વર્ષ ની થઈ ગઈ. મમ્મી પપ્પા એ ભેટ માં ત્રણ અલગ અલગ સુંદર ફૂલો ના પ્લાન્ટ આપ્યા. તે ખુશ થઈ ગઈ જાણે કોઈ મોટી કેક મળી ગઈ હોય. આજ ખાસિયત છે એની. પછી તે તેના દાદીના ફોટા ને જુએ છે અને પગે લાગે છે. તે જ દિવસે તેના એક અંકલ પણ આવેલા તેમણે કલેરા ને મનપસંદ ગિફટ માંગવા કહ્યું ત્યારે કલેરા એ પોતાની મન ની વાતો કહી દીધી. એને outing માટે જંગલ માં જવું છે. પેલા તો પેરેન્ટ્સ અસહમત થયાં પણ પછી હા પડી દીધી. એ બહાને ફિશિંગ પણ થઈ જાય ને કલેરા ની ઈચ્છા પણ પુરી થઈ જાય. Saturday નો દિવસ નક્કી કર્યો આ દિવસ યાદગાર રહશે એવુ કલેરા મન માં બોલતી ને મલકતી. ને સાચે એના માટે રહેવાનો જ છે.  કલેરા ને ક્યાં ખબર હતી આજના દિવસ માટે જ એનો જન્મ  થયો છે. આજે એજ બ્લુ મૂન ની રાત્રી હતી. ફેમિલિ outing માટે રેડી હતું. કલેરા એક્સટ્રા રેડી હતી. અને કેમ ના હોય?

અંકલ ની સાથે કાર માં બધા જંગલ માં પહોંચે છે અને ફેમિલિ પહેલા ફિશિંગ નો પ્લાન બનાવે છે. નાનકડા લીલા તળાવ ની પાસે તે આવે છે એકદમ શાંતિ નું વાતાવરણ છે તળાવ પણ જાણે શાંતિ થી પોતાના પાણી નો અવાજ સાંભળે તેટલું મનોહર છે. કલેરા ખુબ જ ખુશ છે તેને તળાવ વિશે સાંભળ્યું હતું પણ જોયું પહેલી વાર. કેટલું અલગ!! ફેમિલિ ફિશિંગ માં મશગુલ થઈ જાય છે અને કલેરા આજુબાજુ ના ફૂલો માં. જંગલ માં જોવા મળતા દુર્લભ ફૂલો ને તે જુએ છે અને એનાથી પણ દુર્લભ તેના પર ફરતા પતંગિયા. કલેરા ને એક અલગ જ કેસરી પતંગિયું  ખુબ જ ગમી જાય છે તે તેની પાછળ જાય છે. હસતી રમતી કલેરા ને ખબર નથી કે તે જંગલ માં ખુબ જ દૂર આવી જાય છે ફેમિલી થી બહુ જ દૂર. પતંગિયું જાણે તેને લઈ જતું હોય કલેરા તેમ જાય છે. તેને પોતાનું ભાન નથી કે તે ક્યાં જાય છે ?  બહુ અંતર  કાપ્યા બાદ તે એક એવી જગ્યા એ આવી જાય છે જે તેના માટે અકલ્પનિય છે. ત્યાં તે કેસરી રંગ ના એક પતંગિયા માંથી હજારો પતંગિયા તેની સામે આવી ને ઉડવા માંડે છે. ક્યાંથી આવ્યા આટલા બધા અચાનક ? તે મન માં વિચારે છે અને થોડી બીક પણ લાગે છે. ત્યાં તરત જ તે બધા પતંગિયા કલેરા ની નજીક આવે છે આટલા બધા પતંગિયા નું ઝુંડ જોઈ ને કલેરા જોર થી ચીસ પાડે છે ને બેભાન થઈ જાય છે. 

બેભાન થયેલી કલેરા ના મોઢા પર કોઈ પ્રવાહી નો છંટકાવ થાય છે. તેનો સ્વાદ કંઈક જાણીતો લાગે છે કંઈક જ્યુસ હોય તેવું લાગે છે. જેવી આંખો ખુલે છે જાણે પૃથ્વી પર ની સૌથી સુંદર ને મહેક વાળી જગ્યા !!!! ચારેકોર હજારો રંગબેરંગી ફૂલો ને તેનાથી પણ ડબલ પતંગિયા અને તેમના પ્યુપા. કલેરા જાણે ફૂલો ના દેશ માં આવી ગઈ હોય તેવું લાગ્યું. ઘડીક પોતાના માતા પિતા ને પણ ભૂલી ગઈ. આવું દ્રશ્ય તેને માત્ર fairy tale ની વાર્તા માં જ જોયુ હતું. પણ પરી ક્યાં છે? એના મન માં સવાલ ઉઠ્યો.  ત્યાં જ કલેરા.. કલેરા.. ફૂલોનાં ઢગલા પાછળ થી અવાજ આવ્યો. જોયું તો મનુષ્ય ના રૂપ માં મોટું પતંગિયું. શરીર માનવ નું પણ પાંખો વાળું. અદભુત !!!!! આવું તો ક્યાંય જોયું ના હોય. આખરે આ છે શું? કલેરા ના મન માં અનેક સવાલો ઉઠવા માંડ્યા. તે મોટું પતંગિયું કલેરા ની નજીક આવતું ગયું દેખાવ માં તે બ્લુ મોર્ફો butterfly જેવું લાગતું હતું. કલેરા પાસે ફૂલો ને પતંગિયા નું ખુબ જ નોલેજ હતું. તે ઉડતા પતંગિયા ને ઓળખી જતી કે તે કયું છે. પણ આજે તે પોતે જ સવાલો ના દરિયા માં ડૂબી રહી હતી. તેને તેટલું તો સમજાયું કે આ મોટું દેખાતું પતંગિયું આ બધાની રાણી હશે કેમકે તેણે ફૂલો નો સુંદર તાજ પહેર્યો હતો જે બીજા કોઈ ના માથા પર ના હતો. રાણી એ કંઈક ઈશારો કર્યો ને ઉડતા એના હજારો સેવકો એક એક ફુલ પકડીને બેસી ગયા. જાણે કોર્ટ માં ઓર્ડર બોલતા બધા શાંત પડી જાય તેમ. પછી શાંતિ થી રાણી એ બોલવાનું શરૂ કર્યું.

" કલેરા મારી પરી તારું સ્વાગત છે તારા આ ફૂલવન માં. " કલેરા સ્તબ્ધ થઈ ગઈ કે આતો આપણી ભાષા માં વાતો કરે છે ને મારું ફૂલવન????

રાણી એ આગળ કહ્યું " તારા બધા સવાલો ના જવાબ આજે તને મળી જશે. હું તને જે કેવા જઈ રહી છું એ સાંભળી ને તને વિશ્વાસ નહી થાય પણ તે જ તારું સત્ય છે. આજે રાત્રે આકાશ માં જોજે બ્લુ મૂન જોવા મળશે આ બ્લુ ચંદ્ર કયારેક જ આવે છે થોડા સમય પેલા હતો તારો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે હવે આજે છે જયારે હું તને તારા વિશે જણાવીશ. તું કોઈ સામાન્ય બાલિકા નથી તું એક glasswing butterfly છો. મારી જેમ અડધું મનુષ્ય ને અડધું બટરફ્લાય. તારો જન્મ એક ખાસ હેતુ માટે થયો છે.એવું કહીને રાણી તેની જમણી તરફ એક ફૂલો ની પથારી જેવું હોય છે તે હટાવવા નો આદેશ દે છે. અમુક પતંગિયા તે દુર કરે છે તો તેમાં જોતા જ કલેરા ની આંખ માં આંસુ આવી જાય છે. એક મોટું પતંગિયું બેભાન અવસ્થા માં પડ્યું હોય છે. તેની પાંખો ખવાઈ ગયેલી હોય છે. આ પણ રાણી ની જેમ અર્ધ માનવ ને અર્ધ પતંગિયું છે. કલેરા રાણી ને આ અવસ્થા નું કારણ પૂછે છે ને તે કોણ છે તે પણ પૂછે છે. રાણી ના કહેવા મુજબ તે કલેરા ના પૂર્વજ છે!!! અને તેનું આયુષ્ય પૂરું નથી થયું તો પણ તે આ સ્થિતિ માં?? રાણી જણાવે છે તારાં પૂર્વજ નું જીવન તારાં હાથ માં છે.

With many hopes on his face and joy in his heart, the husband watched his wife go into the labor room. Within a few hours, a sweet melody like honey began to be heard. Butterflies began to fly out of the window. Wonderful birthday !! The nature welcomed the little girl as if there would be something special in it ??L

et's see what's special about this baby Clara.

Yes her name is Clara. From a very young age, he was very fickle, very sharp-minded and very active. After the birth of Clara I take you directly to her childhood. In all friends, Clara is very different, not only in look but also in temperament. Nature lover with fickle nature. If no one comes along with her she goes to the garden alone and sits under a tree and counts its leaves !!!! As if the tree was calling to her, she pulled and walked away. Not only trees but everything in the garden is loved by her. That's why her parents made a small garden at home, but Clara prefers a large garden. The most beloved of these butterflies. Clara sits quietly in a place and the butterflies automatically come to her side and spend hours wondering what to do with her?

Not far from Clara's house, there is a small forest. Every time she was attracted to that forest, she wanted to go there but her parents would not let her. She tried to see the forest from the roof of the house every day. Her eyes are thirsty to go there and even the forest is waiting for her !! Every morning and evening of Clara, something unfulfilled dreams and unfulfilled words in the eyes that pass like this.

Kids love to go to the mall. Today, they took Clara to the mall for the first time. Seeing the shiny mall, Clara was surprised. However, Dad said to take whatever she likes. Clara looked at everything in different sections and saw her choice !!! She collected several cans of fruit juice. And Flower Design Hair Pins. Mom pressed the high hair in front of her and pinned it. Pretty Clara was delighted. In the same way all her shopping must be something different. As she got older, her childish behavior changed but the choice kept same. Today, Clara is ten years old. Mummy Daddy gave the plant of three different beautiful flowers as a gift. She was happy as if she had found a big cake. This is a speciality of her . Then she looks at the photos of her grandmother and prays. On the same day, one of her uncle also came and asked to Clara for her favorite gift. Clara wished to go to forest . The parents disagreed but then they said yes. They also decides to do fishing and Clara's wish is fulfilled. They decided Saturday for this trip.

This day will be a memorable one. I really have to live for it, she says to herself.m Clara did not know that she was born for today. Today was the night of the same Blue Moon. The family was ready for the outing. Clara was also ready. And why not?

Accompanied by Uncle , everyone arrives in the car i the forest and they are planning for fishing. She comes near a small green lake. There is an atmosphere of peace. The lake is as beautiful as hearing the sound of its own water in peace. Clara is very happy she heard about the lake but saw it for the first time. How different !! The family gets involved in fishing and clara started to observe different flowers. She sees the rare flowers found in the forest and even more rare are the butterflies hovering over her.. Clara loves a different orange butterfly and goes after it. Laughing, Clara doesn't know that she is so far away from the family in the jungle. As the butterfly carries it away, so does Clara. She has no idea where she is going. After a long distance, she comes to a place which is unimaginable for her. There she saw thousands of butterflies flying in front of her. Where did all this come from all of a sudden? She thinks and even feels a little scared. Immediately all the butterflies come close to Clara. Seeing all the swarms of butterflies, Clara screams loudly and faints.

The liquid is sprayed on the mouth of Clara. It tastes like something familiar, something like juice. When she open her eyes, she feels the most beautiful and fragrant place on earth !!!! Thousands of colorful flowers and d butterflies and their pupa. Clara seemed to have entered the land of flowers. She forgot her parents. Such a scene was seen only in the story of fairy tale. But where is the fairy? The question arose in her mind. Clara .. Clara ..

The sound came from behind the pile of flowers. It is a large butterfly in the form of a human. The human body also has wings. Awesome !!!!! I have never seen anything like this. What is this after all? Many questions arose in Clara's mind. It looked like a blue morpho butterfly in the appearance of a giant butterfly approaching Clara. Clara had a great knowledge of flowers and butterflies. She recognized the flying butterfly as it was. But today she herself was drowning in a sea of ​​questions. She realized that this big looking butterfly would be the queen of all this because she was wearing a beautiful crown of flowers which was not on anyone else's head. The queen made a gesture and thousands of her servants sat down holding a flower. As if speaking the order in the court all fell silent. Then the queen began to speak slowly. 

"Clara, my fairy, welcome to the flower forest. It is yours."Clara is stunned that queen butterfly speaks in our language and my flower forest ????

The queen further said, "You will get the answer to all your questions today. You will not believe what I am going to say, but that is your truth. Tonight you will see the Blue Moon in the sky. It's been a while since you were born, now it's time for me to tell you about you. You're not an ordinary girl. You're a glasswing butterfly. Half a human being like me and half a butterfly. The queen orders the removal of what looks like a flower bed to her right. Some butterflies remove it, and as soon as she see it, tears come to Clare's eyes. A large butterfly is lying unconscious. This is also a half-butterfly to a half-human like a queen. Clara asks the queen the reason for this condition and also asks who is she?? According to the queen, she is the ancestor of Clara !!! And her life is over. Even if it didn't happen, she is in this condition ?? The queen says that the life of your ancestor is in your hand.

કાશ્મીર કી કલી ( kashmir ki kali )

 

હાથ માં બ્લુ ડાયમંડ જડેલું બ્રેસલેટ, અડધા સોનેરી હાઈલાઈટ કરેલા વાળ, મેક અપ વગર પણ ચમકતી આંખો, હાઈ હિલ્સ ના સેન્ડલ પહેરેલી યુવતી આલીશન બિલ્ડીંગ ના સોળમાં માળે બેસીને લેપટોપ લઈ ને ગૂગલ માં કંઈક સર્ચ કરે છે.અને વિચારો માં ખોવાઈ જાય છે....

કાશ્મીર, પૃથ્વી પર નું સ્વર્ગ!!! દુનિયામાં પોતાની સુંદરતા માટે અલગ જ સ્થાન ધરાવે છે. ઠંડી માં રૂ ના ઢગલા જેવા પહાડો અને ગરમી માં જાણે દુનિયાના બધા રંગો અહીં જ જોવા મળે. ફૂલો, પક્ષી, પ્રાણી, નદી બધા પર કુદરતે એક્સટ્રા કૃપા કરી હોય તેવું મનોહર વાતાવરણ!! સ્વર્ગ નો અનુભવ અહીં થાય અને સ્વર્ગવાસીઓ એટલે કાશ્મીર ના લોકો પણ એવા, અનોખા. એવો જ એક પરિવાર ત્યાં રહેતો. નાનકડા ગામ માં આ પરિવાર રહેતો. ઘર માં મમ્મી, પપ્પા, દાદી અને નાનકડી એરા." કાશ્મીર કી કલી "એટલે એરા. મોટી મોટી આંખો, ગુલાબી ચહેરો અને બિન્દાસ સ્વભાવ. એરા નો પરિવાર ત્યાંના લોકો ના પ્રમાણ માં ગરીબ ગણાતો. તેઓ પશમીના શાલ બનાવતા. ગરીબાઈ ને લીધે એરા ને સ્કૂલ જવા દેતા નહિ. પપ્પા આખો દિવસ બકરી ચરાવવા જાય મમ્મી અને દાદી ઘર ને સંભાળે ને શાલ બનાવે. પશમીના શાલ હાથેથી બનાવામાં આવે છે. આમ તો ગામ માં ઘણા લોકો આ કામ કરતા પણ એરા ના પરિવાર જેવી સુંદર શાલ કોઈ બનાવતું નહિ. એરા પણ ધીમે ધીમે એ કામ માં રસ ધરાવતી થઈ ગઈ . શાલ માં ઉપયોગમાં લેવામાં આવતા રેશમી રંગબેરંગી દોરા થી રમવું તેને ગમતું, ઘણી વાર રમત રમત માં દોરા ગૂંચવી દેતી તો દાદી ખુબ ખીજાય. અને વ્હાલ પણ કરે.

ગામ ના બીજા બધા છોકરા અને તેની મિત્ર નોમી સ્કૂલ જતા એટલે એરા થોડું ઘણું જ્ઞાન તેમની પાસેથી લઈ લેતી. ભણવા કરતા તેને પોતાની આજુબાજુ નું જ્ઞાન વધારે હતું. ગામ માં વાર તહેવારે કંઈક નવીન પ્રવૃત્તિ થાય. એક વખત સરપંચે ગામ ના બાળકો માટે વકતૃત્વ સ્પર્ધા નું આયોજન કરેલું. બધા બાળકો જુદા જુદા અતરંગી વિષયો પર બોલ્યા. એરા ને પણ બોલવાની ઈચ્છા થઈ તેની સમજ મુજબ તે તેની નજર માં આવતા અનુભવ વિશે એટલે પશમીના શાલ વિશે બોલી :

" પશમીના શાલ દુનિયામાં સૌથી મોંઘી અને સુંદર છે. તેને પશમીના બકરી ના વાળમાંથી બનાવામાં આવે છે. તે બકરી મોટા ભાગે લદાખ માં પણ જોવા મળે છે. એક શાલ બનાવતા 72 કલાક લાગે છે. આને મશીન થી નહિ હાથથી જ બનાવાય છે. 3 પશમીના બકરી ના વાળ ભેગા કરીયે ત્યારે એક શાલ બને છે ને તેમાં સિલ્ક ના દોરા થી સજાવટ નું કામ થાય છે. આ શાલ એટલી મુલાયમ હોય છે કે તેને વીંટીમાંથી પણ પસાર કરી શકાય છે ને મુલાયમ હોવાની સાથે એક શાલ 6 સ્વેટર જેટલી ગરમી પણ આપે છે. તેથી વિદેશીઓ આને ખુબ પસંદ કરે છે. "

આટલું ફટાફટ એકી શ્વાસ માં એરા બોલી જાય છે. ગામમાં લગભગ બધા આ વ્યવસાય સાથે જોડાયેલા હોય છે પણ આટલી જાણકારી તો કોઈ પાસે નથી. સરપંચ એરા ને અભિનંદન આપે છે. બધા તાળી ના ગડગડાટ થી એરા ને વધાવી લે છે. આવા અનુભવી જ્ઞાન સાથે એરા મોટી થતી જાય છે. હવે તે પણ શાલ બનાવે છે ને કયારેક કયારેક બકરી ચરાવવા પણ જાય છે. આમ તે પરિવાર ને મદદ કરે છે. એક દિવસ બાજુના ગામ માં હેન્ડીક્રાફ્ટ ની વસ્તુઓ નો મેળો ભરાવાનો હોય છે. એરા ને માહિતી મળે છે કે અવારનવાર આવા મેળા માં મોટી સંખ્યામાં દેશ વિદેશ થી લોકો આવે છે. એરા પણ તેમાં સ્ટોલ નાખવાનું નક્કી કરે છે. ઘરે આ વિશે ચર્ચા થાય છે. સ્ટોલ માટે થોડા પૈસા ઓછા પડે છે તો એરા તેના કાકા પાસેથી લે છે. પાંચ દિવસ પછી મેળો ભરાવાનો હોય છે એરા પોતાના પપ્પા સાથે મળીને તનતોડ મહેનત કરે છે. જો મેળા માં તેની બધી શાલ વેચાય જાય તો અડધા વર્ષ નું અનાજ ભરાય જાય. પોઝિટિવ વિચારો થી ભરેલી એરા હાથ થી સુંદર રૂમાલ, ડ્રેસ પર સજાવટ, ને ટોપી પર પણ અલગ અલગ દોરા થી ભરતકામ કરે છે. મેળા ના આગલા દિવસે તે સામાન લઈ ને ત્યાં પહોંચી જાય છે. ને સ્ટોલ માં સુઘડ રીતે બધું ગોઠવી દે છે. પોતાની મિત્ર નોમી પાસેથી સ્ટોલ ઉપર નામ પણ લખાવે છે. " સ્ટોલ નંબર - 31 કાશ્મીર કી કલી ". મહેનત થી મેળવેલ પથ્થર પણ સાચવી ને રખાય છે આતો સ્ટોલ છે એમ રાતે મૂકીને થોડું જવાય? એવુ વિચારીને એરા અને તેના પપ્પા ત્યાં જ રોકાય છે. સવારે વહેલા તૈયાર થઈ ને સ્ટોલ માં અગરબત્તી કરે છે ને ભગવાન ને પ્રાર્થના કરે છે. ધીમે ધીમે મેળો શરુ થાય છે લોકો આવે છે જાય છે. એરા ભીડ ની સામે આશા ભરી નજરે જોતી રહે છે. ત્યાં જ એક વિદેશીઓનું ટોળું આવે છે ને પટપટ ઇંગલિશ માં બોલે છે. સારુ થયું નોમી ત્યાં હતી એટલે તે બધા ને જવાબ આપે છે અને તે લોકો પાંચ શાલ ની ખરીદી કરે છે. નોમી ના કહેવા મુજબ તે ઈજરાયલ થી આવેલા ને તેઓ ને આ શાલ ખુબ જ પસંદ આવી. ધીમે ધીમે સાંજ પડે છે ને સ્ટોલ બંધ કરવાનું કહેવામાં આવે છે. નોમી પૈસા ગણી ને હિસાબ કરે છે. ખુબ જ સારો નફો થયો છે. થોડી ટોપી ને છોડીને બધી જ શાલ વેચાય ગઈ તે જાણી ને એરા ખુબ જ ખુશ થાય છે. તે લોકો ઘરે આવે છે અને બીજે દિવસે એરા ના પપ્પા બીજી બે પશમીના બકરી ખરીદી લાવે છે. એરા અને તેનો પરિવાર ખુબ જ ખુશ થાય છે. સાથે સાથે પપ્પા એ બે બકરી ની જવાબદારી એરા ને સોંપે છે.

હવેથી રોજ સવારે એરા એ બકરી લઈ ને ચાલ્યું જાવાનું ને એની બધી સારસંભાળ રાખવાની. દાદી ને અને મમ્મી ને થયું કે એરા બકરી માં જ રહેશે તો ઘર ક્યારે સંભાળશે ? પણ એરા ની સામે કોઈ કાંઈ બોલતું નહિ. ધીમે ધીમે એરા બકરી ના વાળ કાઢતા પણ શીખી ગઈ. એરા ને બકરી ના વાળ કાઢતા બહુ દુઃખ થતું, કેમ નહિ? આપણી સાથે કોઈ એવુ વર્તન કરે તો કેવું થાય? પણ રોજીરોટી નો સવાલ હોવાથી એરા કાંઈ બોલતી નહિ. બકરી ચરાવવા જાય ત્યારે બકરીઓ ખાવામાં મશગુલ હોય ને એરા કુદરત ને માણવામાં!!!

રોજ ની જેમ આજે પણ તે બકરીઓ ને લઈને નીકળે છે. આજે તે બીજો પહાડી રસ્તો પસંદ કરે છે. અડ્વેન્ચર માટે તે હંમેશા તૈયાર જ હોય. ત્યાં બરફ પણ હતો અને મોટી મોટી ભેખડો. પશમીના બકરી બરફ વગેરે માં આસાની થી ચાલી શકતી. થોડે દુર આવ્યા બાદ એરા ત્યાં જ આરામ કરે છે ને બકરીઓ ઘાસ શોધવા લાગે છે. થોડી વાર માં જાણે ભૂકંપ આવ્યો હોય તેવું કંપન થાય છે. ચારે બાજુ પક્ષીઓ જોરજોર થી બોલવા માંડે છે બકરીઓ આમ તેમ દોડે છે. એરા ફટાફટ ઊભી થાય અને પરિસ્થિતિ સંભાળે ત્યાં જ કોઈક ની ચીસ સંભળાય છે. પ્લીઝ હેલ્પ, પ્લીઝ હેલ્પ!! એરા તે દિશામાં જાય છે, ત્યાં લેન્ડ સ્લાઈડ થયું હોય છે ને એક યુવતી ઝાડ ને પકડી ને લટકાય ગઈ હોય છે. એરા પોતાના માથા પરથી દુપટો કાઢે છે ને તેને વળ ચડાવીને પેલી છોકરી ને આપે છે જેથી તે ઉપર ચડી શકે. દુપટ્ટા ની મદદ થી તે ચડી જાય છે.

યુવતી - thank you so much, angel એમ કહીને હાથ મિલાવે છે. એરા પણ હાથ મિલાવે છે. યુવતી કંઈક ઇંગલિશ માં બડબડ કરે છે એરા એને ઈશારા માં ના પાડે છે. ત્યાં અચાનક નોમી આવી ચડે છે લેન્ડ સ્લાઈડ નું સાંભળી ને એરા ના મમ્મી એ તેને મોકલી હોય છે. સંકટ સમયે જેની જરૂર હતી તે નોમી આવી ગઈ. હવે ઇંગલિશ માં બોલવાનું કામ નોમી કરશે. નોમી તેને ઓળખી જાય છે તે પેલી ઈઝરાયલ વાળી જ છે જેણે પાંચ શાલ  ખરીદી હતી તે પણ નોમી ને ઓળખી જાય છે.તે યુવતી ને નોમી ઘણી વાર સુધી વાતો કરે છે. પછી ત્રણેય ત્યાં બેસે છે. નોમી કાશ્મીરી અને ઇંગલિશ નું ટ્રાન્સલેટર બની જાય છે. આખરે વાત માં જાણવા મળે છે તે યુવતી નું નામ લીઝા હોય છે ને તે પોતાના મિત્રો સાથે ઈઝરાયલ થી ફરવા આવી હોય છે. પણ આ લેન્ડ સ્લાઈડ ના લીધે તે મિત્રો થી અલગ પડી જાય છે અને તેની હોટેલ પણ ઘણી દુર હોય છે ઉપરથી મોબાઈલ માં નેટવર્ક પણ નથી. તેને ખુબ જ ભૂખ ને તરસ લાગી હોય છે. આવી પરિસ્થિતિ માં એરા તેને પોતાના ઘરે લઈ જવાનું વિચારે છે. ત્રણેય ઘરે આવે છે બધી વાત કરે છે. તેને જમવાનું આપે છે. દાદી ને આમ અજાણ્યા ને ઘરમાં રાખવાની વાત ગમતી નથી પણ બિચારી જાય ક્યાં? તેવું વિચારીને તે સહમત થાય છે. એ બધાની સાથે નોમી ને પણ ત્યાં રોકાવું પડે છે.

નવ દિવસ સુધી લીઝા ત્યાં દૂધ માં સાકર ની જેમ ભળી જાય છે. રોજ ફોન માં પરિવાર ને નવી નવી જાણવા જેવી વાતો ના વિડિઓ બતાવે છે. એરા ને થોડી abcd શીખડાવે છે. દાદી ને પણ એમાં રસ પડે છે. એક જ જગ્યા બેસી ને આખી દુનિયા ને માણવાની!! દાદી તો રોજ ઘર માં બેસી ને ચાર ધામ, અમરનાથ, કેદારનાથ જઈ આવતા ને વળી કયારેક મલેશિયા ના દરિયા કિનારે લટાર મારી આવતા. લીઝા એ પરિવાર ને આટલા દિવસ ખુબ જ આનંદ કરાવ્યો. એના બદલા માં લીઝા ને પણ ઘણો પ્રેમ મળ્યો. રોજ મમ્મી ના હાથ નું સ્વાદિષ્ટ જમવાનું પુરી, કઢી, બાલુશાહી, પુલાવ તથા અન્ય વ્યંજનો. લીઝા એ આટલું ટેસ્ટી જમવાનું ક્યારેય જમ્યું નહતું. આ ઉપરાંત તેણે પશ્મીના બકરી અને તેમાંથી બનતી શાલ વિશે ઘણું જ્ઞાન મેળવ્યું. પોતાના આ ટેમ્પોરરી પરિવાર ની યાદો ફોન માં સમેટી ને વિદાય નો દિવસ આવી ગયો. તેના મિત્રો તેને શોધતા શોધતા આવી પહોંચ્યા. લીઝા એ મિત્રો સાથે એરા ના પરિવાર નો પરિચય કરાવ્યો. અને ખુશી થી વિદાય લીધી. ભારતીય પરંપરા મુજબ વિદાય માં રડવાનું ફરજીયાત!!એટલે લાગણી જ એટલી હોય કે આંસુઓ આંખો ને ધક્કો મારીને બહાર આવી જાય. એરા નો આખો પરિવાર રડતો હતો. પણ લીઝા એ જતા જતા પાછળ વળી ને જોયું પણ નહિ!!  દાદી સાચું કહે છે પરદેશી આવા જ હોય. કાંઈ મોહ માયા નહિ. એવુ મન માં વિચારીને એરા પોતાના કામે લાગે છે. બીજા વર્ષ ના મેળા ની તૈયારી અત્યારથી કરવાની હોય છે. એરા હવે એકલી પડી જાય છે કેમ કે નોમી હવે સ્કૂલ બાદ કોલેજ માં જાય છે તેથી તેની પાસે પૂરતો સમય નથી કે એરા સાથે વાતો કરે. એરા હવે બહાર ની સાથે ઘર ના કામ પણ સંભાળે છે. નોમી ની કૉલેજ માં બહુ મોટી લાઈબ્રેરી હોય છે રોજ તે ત્યાં જાય છે ને છાપા, મેગેઝીન વાંચે ને નવીન વસ્તુ ઘર માં જણાવે. જુદી જુદી જાતના ભરતકામ ની ચિત્રવાળી ચોપડી એણે એરા ને બતાવેલી તેમાંથી એરા ઘણું શીખેલી. એક વખત નોમી લાઈબ્રેરી માં જઈ ને મેગઝીન અને એક બે છાપા વાંચવા લે છે. મેગઝીન ના પાના ફેરવતા ફેરવતા તેની આંખો ચાર થઈ જાય છે ને ત્યાં મેડમ ની મંજૂરી થી મેગેઝીન ઘરે લાવે છે.  દોટ મૂકીને એરા ના ઘર માં જાય છે. બધા શાલ બનાવવા માં વ્યસ્ત હોય છે. આમ અચાનક નોમી ના આવવાથી તેઓ ટેન્શન માં આવી જાય છે. નોમી હાંફ્તા હાંફ્તા મેગેઝીન એરા ને આપે છે. એની પણ આંખો ચાર થઈ જાય છે જયારે એ તેમાં લીઝા નો ફોટો જોવે છે. મમ્મી નોમી ને પાણી આપે છે. શાંત પડીને નોમી મેગેઝીન નું તે પાનું વાંચીને ટૂંક માં કહે છે. કે લીઝા ઈઝરાયલ ના એક નામી ઉદ્યોગપતિ ની દીકરી છે. આ ફોટામાં એના પપ્પા છે ને આ મમ્મી છે. તેના પપ્પા એ ઈઝરાયલ માં ઘણા લોકો ને જુદી જુદી રીતે મદદ કરી એ માટે તેનો લેખ છપાયેલો છે. લીઝા ના પપ્પા કરોડપતિ છે ને ઘણા સમાજ માટે ઉમદા કામ કરે છે. લીઝા ને ફરવાનો શોખ હોવાથી તે મિત્રો સાથે જુદા જુદા દેશ માં ફરવા જાય છે ને તેના વિશે લખે છે. નોમી બધાને ફોટો બતાવે છે. પીક્ચર માં આવે એવી ખુરશી માં એના મમ્મી પપ્પા બેઠા છે ને લીઝા ઊભી છે એના પપ્પા પાસે. એરા ને લાગ્યું આટલી પૈસાવાળી છોકરી અમારા ઘર માં રહી અમને ખબર પણ ના પડી. એટલે જ જતાજતા કાંઈ બોલી નહિ. પૈસાવાળા માણસો ને અમારા જેવા લોકો ની શું કિંમત?? જે હોય પણ ખુબ જ સરસ ફોટો છે. એમ કહીને એરા પોતાના કામ માં લાગી જાય છે. કેમ કે બે દિવસ પછી ફરી મેળા નું આયોજન હતું આ વખતે ડબલ નફો કરવાનો છે એ વિચાર થી લોકો મેગેઝીન મૂકી ને કામ માં લાગી જાય છે.

બે દિવસ પછી નોમી, એરા અને તેના પપ્પા સ્ટોલ માં કામ કરતા હોય છે. ત્યાં પાછળ થી અવાજ આવે છે.

Excuse me, who is miss era? (માફ કરજો, આમાંથી એરા કોણ છે)

નોમી એરા તરફ આંગળી થી ઈશારો કરે છે. કોઈ અજાણ્યો યુવાન હોય છે. તે એરા ને એક બેગ આપે છે. ને ચાલ્યો જાય છે. પપ્પા તેને રોકવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરે છે પણ તે ગાડી માં બેસી ને નીકળી જાય છે. સ્ટોલ શરુ થવાને હજી વાર હોય છે. એટલે તેઓ બેગ ખોલીને જુએ છે. અલગ અલગ કેટલાય કાગળ હોય છે અને એક પર્સ. નોમી બધું જુએ છે ને એરા ને ફટાફટ બધું સંકેલી ને ઘરે લઈ જાય છે. એરા ખુબ જ બેચેની અનુભવે છે કેમ કે નોમી આવું વર્તન કરે છે ને કાંઈ પણ કહેતી નથી. શું આ કાગળ તેના સ્ટોલ કરતા વધારે મહત્વના છે?? ઘરે પહોંચતા નોમી દરવાજો બંધ કરે છે ને બધાને બેસાડે છે. અને કહે છે લીઝા એ એરા માટે ઈઝરાયલ જવા માટે નો પત્ર મોકલ્યો છે. એક સ્માર્ટ ફોન છે. પાસપોર્ટ માટે અમુક લોકો ના ફોન નંબર છે ને ટિકિટ તથા અન્ય ખર્ચ માટે પૈસા મોકલ્યા છે. પત્ર માં લખ્યું છે, જેમ તે અહીં મહેમાન બની હતી તેમ એરા પણ ત્યાં જાય. નોમી વધારે ખુશ થાય છે કેમકે બધું હૅન્ડલ કરવા તેને પણ સાથે જવાનુ હતું. ત્યાં જ ફોન માં રિંગ વાગે છે ને સામેથી કોઈક માણસ કહે છે કે તે કાલે ત્યાં આવીને પાસપોર્ટ ની કામગીરી શરૂ કરશે.. જેનું જીવન પશમીના થી શરુ થઈ ને શાલ બનાવવામાં જ વીત્યું આજે તે બીજા દેશ માં જશે જેનું નામ પણ તેને લખતા નથી આવડતું. એરા રડવા લાગે છે. મમ્મી પપ્પા તેને સંભાળે છે કદાચ એને જીવન માં આગળ વધવા ના દેવામાં તેમનો હાથ હતો જેથી તે કદી સ્કૂલ નથી જઈ શકી. પણ હવે આ ભૂલ ને સુધારવામાં આવશે, એરા ને ઈઝરાયલ મોકલીને. સોનેરી ચકલી ને આંગણા માં બહુ ચણવા દીધી હવે તેને ઉડવાનો સમય આવી ગયો છે. આ બધું તેણે જાતે જ મેળવ્યું છે તેના સ્વભાવથી.

માત્ર ભણતર નહિ કયારેક સારા ગુણો પણ માણસ ને આગળ વધારે છે.

બીજા દિવસે માણસો આવે છે ને પાસપોર્ટ વગેરે ની તૈયારી કરે છે. થોડા જ દિવસો માં જવાની તૈયારી થઈ જાય છે. નોમી પણ પરિવાર ની સાથે એરા ના ઘરે આવે છે. મમ્મી લીઝા માટે બાલુશાહી ડબ્બા માં ભરી દે છે અને બન્ને ના પરિવારજનો સલાહ નો વરસાદ શરૂ કરી દે છે. ત્યાં જ મસ્ત બ્લેક કલર ની સ્કોર્પિયો આવે છે ને લીઝા મેડમ નું નામ લઈ ને તેઓ ને લઈ જાય છે. એરા અને નોમી તેમાં બેસી ને જાય છે  અને શ્રીનગર એરપોર્ટ પર પહોંચે છે. ત્યાંથી  ચેન્નાઇ જવાનુ હોય છે ને પછી ઈઝરાયલ. નોમી એ એરપોર્ટ ફોટા માં જોયું હતું આજે પહેલીવાર હકીકત માં જોયું. તે આમથી આમ જોયા કરે છે કે કોઈ ફિલ્મ સ્ટાર મળી જાય તો ફોટો પડાવીશું.!!! એરા પોતાના જીવન ના આ ટર્નિંગ પોઇન્ટ ને માણે છે. ચેન્નાઇ પહોંચી ને પાંચ છ કલાક બાદ તેઓ જેરુસલેમ પહોંચે છે. ત્યાં એરપોર્ટ પર લીઝા ને જોઈ ને એરા ખુશ થઈ જાય છે. બધા કાર માં બેસી ને ઘરે જાય છે. લીઝા નું ઘર એરપોર્ટ થી નજીક હોય છે જેથી તેઓ ફટાફટ પહોંચી જાય છે. એક મહેલ જાણે જોઈ લ્યો એવુ એનું ઘર.  બહાર તેના પપ્પા મમ્મી તથા નોકરો સ્વાગત માટે ઉભા હોય છે. એરા અને નોમી બન્ને ને પગે લાગે છે. અને ઘર માં જાય છે.  બે દિવસ તો એરા ને લીઝા નું ઘર જોતા લાગ્યા. આના કરતા પશમીના નું ભરતકામ કરવું સહેલું!

એક દિવસ સવારે લીઝા લેપટોપ લઈને આવે છે ને નોમી અને એરા ને કંઈક બતાવે છે. લેપટોપ માં લીઝા એ એરા સાથે વિતાવેલો સમય અને તેની શાલ ના ફોટા હોય છે. લીઝા નોમી ને જણાવે છે કે તેણે એરા, પશમીના શાલ ને અન્ય હેન્ડી ક્રાફ્ટ જે દુનિયામાં અમૂલ્ય છે તેના પર વેબસાઈટ બનાવી છે ને ફોટા પણ મુક્યા છે. દુનિયામાં ઘણા લોકો એ એમાં રસ દાખવ્યો છે. આપણી એરા અને પશમીના હવે લોકલ નથી રહ્યા તેનું નામ દુનિયામાં મશહૂર થઈ ગયું છે. દર વર્ષે અહીં આવા ટેલેન્ટ માટે ની સ્પર્ધા યોજાય છે. તેમાં તારે ભાગ લેવાનો છે તે માટે તને અહીંયા બોલાવી છે. એરા મુંજાય જાય છે ને ના પાડે છે આટલા મોટા પ્લેટફોર્મ માટે તે ક્યારેય તૈયાર છે જ નથી તેમ વિચારીને રડવા લાગે છે.

લીઝા અને નોમી એને સમજાવે છે કે આ જ એ મોકો છે જેનાથી એ પોતાની જાત ને સાબિત કરી શકે. દરિયામાં ભળેલા મીઠા ની કાંઈ કિંમત નથી હોતી પણ જમવામાં એજ મીઠુ ના જાય તો બધું નકામું છે. તું એ મીઠા સમાન છો  એરા! એરા ને થોડો સમય જોઈએ છે વિચારવા. નોમી ને કહીને તે કાશ્મીરમાં બાજુવાળા કાકા ના ઘરે ફોન લગાડે છે મમ્મી સાથે વાત કરવા.

મમ્મી - "એરા બેટા, તમે પહોંચી ગયા? બધું બરોબર છે ને? લીઝા સાથે કાંઈ વાત થઈ? કેમ એણે ત્યાં બોલાવ્યા?"

એરા - " મમ્મી આપણે એમ સમજતા હતા કે લીઝા ને કાંઈ આપણી જેવી મોહ માયા નથી. આપણે તેને પુરી ખવડાવી તેના બદલા માં મારી પૂરી જિંદગી બદલી નાખી."

એરા બધી જ વાત મમ્મી ને જણાવે છે. મમ્મી ખુશ થાય છે ને એરા ને આગળ વધવા કહે છે.

બીજે દિવસ થી એરાની ટ્રેનિંગ શરુ થાય છે. તેને ઇંગલિશ બોલતા, તેમજ બોડી લેન્ગવેજ માટે ખાસ ટ્રેનર ને બોલવામાં આવે છે. અધૂરા માં પૂરું લીઝા તેના ડિઝાઇનર પાસે એરા માટે સ્પેશ્યિલ કપડાં બનાવડાવે છે. સ્માર્ટ ફોન અને લેપટોપ માં કામ કરતા પણ શીખડાવે છે. ટ્રેનિંગ બાદ એરા મારુતિ માંથી મર્સિડીઝ બની ગઈ હોય તેવી લાગવા માંડી . હવે સમય આવી ગયો એરા ની પરીક્ષા નો.

નોમી તો એરા ને નવા અવતાર માં જોઈ ને મંત્રમુગ્ધ થઈ ગઈ. ફેરન (કાશ્મીરી ડ્રેસ ) ને બદલે લાબું સ્કર્ટ, ટી શર્ટ ને ગુલાબી પશમીના શાલ.!!

બધા ઇવેન્ટ હોલ તરફ જાય છે એક પછી એક ની કૃતિ પ્રેસેંટેશન રૂપે બતાવવામાં આવે છે. એરા નું પ્રેસેંટેશન લીઝા એ ફોટા સહીત તૈયાર કરીને રાખ્યું હોય છે. એરા પોતાના પરિવાર ને યાદ કરીને આગળ વધે છે અને પશમીના શાલ નું પ્રેસેંટેશન શરૂ થાય છે. તેણે ઓઢેલી શાલ આકર્ષણ નું કેન્દ્ગ

બને છે. પ્રેસેંટેશન પૂરું થયા બાદ કોઈ ફિરંગી સવાલ પૂછે છે કે "આ શાલ વિશે વધારે વિગત જણાવી શકો ? "નોમી જવાબ દેવા ઊભી થાય ત્યાં એરા ઇંગલિશ માં સરળ રીતે પટપટ બોલી જાય છે જેવું તે નાનપણ માં સરપંચ સામે બોલી હતી. તાળીઓ નો ગડગડાટ થવા માંડે છે. એક બે નહિ પશમીના શાલ ના ત્રણસો ગ્રાહકો ત્યાં જ બની જાય છે. એરા એ તેના પરિવારની સાથે આખા ગામ નો નકશો બદલી દીધો. આટલી બધી શાલ ઓછા સમય માં આખુ ગામ મળીને કરે તોજ થાય. આ સરસ સમાચાર એરા ફોન કરીને પપ્પા ને જણાવે છે ને કહે છે, are you ready for that daddy? (શું તમે આમાટે તૈયાર છો પપ્પા?)

Are you ready??era??? (શું તું તૈયાર છે? એરા?) પાછળ થી અવાજ આવે છે ને એરા લેપટોપ બંધ કરે છે. સોનેરી હાઈલાઈટ કરેલા વાળ સરખા કરીને એરા લીઝા સાથે ઇન્ટરનેશનલ હેન્ડી ક્રાફ્ટ એક્ઝિબિશન માં જવા નીકળે છે. ગાડીમાં બેસીને ઇન્સ્ટાગ્રામ માં એક સુવિચાર મોબાઈલ થી પોસ્ટ કરે છે.

જયારે આપણે કોઈને કાંઈ પણ નિસ્વાર્થ ભાવે આપીયે છીએ તો તેનું વળતર અમૂલ્ય હોય છે.

Sarpanch congratulates Era. Everyone applauds Era . With this experienced knowledge the era grows up . Now she also makes shawl and sometimes goes to graze goats. Thus she helps the family. "માહિર ને કનીશ તમે બન્ને આખો દિવસ વાતો જ કરો છો, હોમવર્ક કયારે કરશો?"  મમ્મી બન્ને ભાઈ ને રોજ એક જ લાઈન બોલે તોય બન્ને માં કાંઈ સુધારો નહિ.  અને મમ્મી ની વાત ને જોક્સ માની ને હસે અને પાછા રમતે ચડી જાય.

માહિર અને કનીશ વસુધા ને માનવ નાં દીકરા છે. માહિર મોટો, બહુ નહિ ચાર વર્ષ. તોય બન્ને માં ગાઢ પ્રેમ. પ્રેમ નું પારખું કરવા એક વખત ગોવા ફરવા ગયેલા તો બન્ને એ એક બીજા નાં નામ નું ખભા પર ટેટૂ કરાવેલું. મમ્મી બહુ ખીજાણા પણ પપ્પા એ કાંઈ નાં કીધું. એટલે જ એ લોકો ને ફાવી જતું. કનીશ માટે કાંઈ પણ હોય માહિર તરત એ કામ કરે ને નાનકો પણ વાત માની જાય. જોતજોતામાં વર્ષો વીતી ગયા. પપ્પા એક કંપની માં કામ કરતા ત્યાંથી તેમને ફોરેન જવાની ઓફર આવેલી. ઘર માં ખુશી નો માહોલ છવાઈ ગયો. માંડ રવિવારે ગાર્ડન માં જવા મળતું આતો બીજા દેશ માં જવાનું. માત્ર 6 મહિના માટે પણ મજાનો અનુભવ થવાનો હતો. મિડલ ક્લાસ માં આવી સફર થવાની હોય તો સગા વ્હાલા પહેલા મળવા આવે અને આવ્યા પછી વસ્તુઓ જોવા પહોંચી જાય. માહિર ના ઘર માં તેઓ પહેલા હતા જે ફોરેન જતા હતા. માહિર ને નાનપણ થી પ્લેન માં બેસવાની બહુ ઈચ્છા હતી જે હવે પુરી થશે. બહુ મોટા સપના નાની અમથી આંખો માં એવી રીતે સમાય કે હૃદય માંથી તેને પુરા કરવાનો જુસ્સો જાગે. આવું જ કંઈક માહિર નું હતું. અને એનો ભાઈ તો એની જ પગદંડી પર ચાલવાવાળો!!!

આખરે એ દિવસ આવી ગયો કે પરિવાર વિદેશ જવા નીકળે છે. તેઓ ફ્લોરિડા આવે છે. ખુબ જ સુંદર દરિયા કિનારા,  થીમ પાર્ક, ખાસ કરીને સન સેટ ના દ્રશ્યો. રોજ પપ્પા ઓફિસ જાય એટલે બન્ને પાર્ક માં રમે. તેઓને ત્યાંનું વાતાવરણ ખુબ જ ગમી ગયું. માહિર ને ફ્લોરિડા યુનિવર્સિટી માં ભણવાની ઈચ્છા થઈ પણ સમય માત્ર 6 મહિના જ હતો. કેમ કરવું?? પપ્પા ને વાત કરી પણ સગવડતા ના હોવાને કારણે એમણે ના પાડી. પણ માહિર એ મન માં નક્કી કરેલું ભણીશું તો અહીં જ. તેના એકલા માટે નહિ કનીશ માટે પણ એવી મનોકામના કરી. તે માટે ઘણી મહેનત ની જરૂર છે તો જ સ્કોલરશીપ મળે ને આ વિશે વિચારાય. ઇન્ડિયા આવ્યા પછી માહિર આ ધંધે લાગી ગયો. સારા રેન્ક થી સ્કૂલ પુરી થતા એને સ્કોલરશીપ મળી ગઈ. આ ખુશ ખબર દેવા મમ્મીને ફોન કર્યો મમ્મી એ સમાચાર સાંભળતા જ બધાને બોલવા લાગ્યા. ફોન શરૂ રાખીને જ ચાલ્યા ગયા. આ એક ખરાબ ટેવ હતી કયારેક ફોન કટ ના કરે એવુ વિચારીને કે સામે વાળા કટ કરશે. ઘર માં પ્રવેશતા પપ્પા એ માહિર ને ફૂલ નો હાર પેરાવ્યો ને બધા લોકો વાતો માં ખોવાઈ ગયા.

4 મહિના પછી

વ્હેલી સવારે જોયું તો ખૂણામાં બેસી ને કનીશ રડતો હતો. તેનું કારણ એક જ હોય ભાઈ ની વિદાય.. પણ માહિરે પ્રોમિસ આપ્યું કે તેની સ્કૂલ પુરી થઈ જાય પછી તેને પણ ત્યાં લઈ જશે. અને પ્રોમિસ પૂરું પણ કર્યું જયારે 5 વર્ષ પછી કનીશ ના બર્થડે ઉપર તેને મિયામી આવવાની ટિકિટ સરપ્રાઈઝ રૂપે મોકલે છે. પેકિંગ કરતા કરતા કનીશ વિચારે છે કે ત્યાં ઘર કેવું હશે? ભાઈ પોતાના ખર્ચે બોલાવે છે તો તે કેવી જગ્યા એ કામ કરતા હશે? સમય કેટલો આગળ પાછળ હશે?

માહિર એ ખુબ જ ઓછા સમય માં ભણવાની સાથે સાથે નેટવર્કિંગ નો બિઝનેસ શરૂ કર્યો. પોતાની સાથે બીજા પાંચ ફ્રેન્ડ સાથે મળીને ખુબ નામ કમાવ્યું અને પૈસા પણ. પોતાની મહેનત અને આવડત થી આજે એણે પોતાની અલગ કંપની શરૂ કરવાનું વિચાર્યું જેનું ઉદ્ધઘાટન કનીશ ના હાથે કરવું હતું. આ પણ સરપ્રાઈઝ છે.  આ બધી વાત માંથી પસાર થઈ ને કનીશ નું મન ગાર્ડન ગાર્ડન થઈ જાય છે. અને તેને ભાઈ પર ખુબ જ ગર્વ થાય છે. થોડા દિવસ બાદ મિયામી માં કનીશ નું એડમિશન થાય છે ને તે પણ સાઈડ માં નેટવર્કિંગ નું શીખે છે. એક દિવસ રાત્રે માહિર મમ્મી ને વિડીયો કોલ કરે છે.

"માહિર, કનીશ ક્યાં છે? સુઈ ગયો લાગે છે." મમ્મી પૂછે છે. 

"પપ્પા હજુ આવ્યા નથી લાગતા? "માહિર પૂછે છે ત્યાં જ ડોરબેલ વાગે છે ને પોતાની જૂની આદત ની જેમ ફોન શરૂ રાખીને મમ્મી ચાલ્યા જાય છે. માહિર ને એમ કે હમણાં આવશે પણ આ શું ઘર માં ઝગડા નું વાતાવરણ.......?

આખી રાત માહિર ના મન માં એજ પપ્પા ના શબ્દો અથડાયા કરે છે -  "તારો સાવકો દીકરો કેમ મને ફોન નથી કરતો? શું તે માહિર કરતા હોશિયાર બની ગયો?"  કનીશ નું આવું કેરેક્ટર?? શું તેને આ વાત ની ખબર હશે? હોય પણ શકે અને નહિ પણ..  તો તેણે મને આજ સુધી જણાવ્યું કેમ નહિ ? એટલે જ તે હંમેશા પપ્પા થી દુર ભાગતો. માહિર ના મગજ માં શંકા રૂપી કરોળિયો અનેક જાળા ગૂંથી રહયો હતો. આંખો લાલ ધૂમ કનીશ ને એક દગાબાજ ની નજરે જોતી હતી. આમાં મમ્મી પપ્પા નો વાંક નથી દગાબાજ ને તેણે સાચવ્યો છે.

કનીશ ના રૂમ પાસે માહિર જાય છે દરવાજા ની તિરાડ માંથી જોવે છે. "મસ્ત સૂતેલો દગાબાજ મેં તારું ભવિષ્ય નક્કી કરી નાખ્યું છે. " આટલું બોલીને માહિર સવાર પાડવાની રાહ જોવે છે.

બીજા દિવસે :

કનીશ  - "જય શ્રી ક્રિષ્ના ભાઇ હજુ તમે નાહ્યા નથી?"

માહિર - "ના, એક્ચુઅલી આ તારો એક લેટર છે એને વાંચતો હતો. લે તું જો."

કનીશ લેટર વાંચીને સ્તબ્ધ થઈ જાય છે. ખાલી એટલું જ બોલે છે  " સ્કોટલેન્ડ !!! ભાઇ તમે મને સ્કોટલેન્ડ ભણવા મોકલો છો? મને કીધું પણ નહિ? ત્યાં અજાણ્યા સીટી માં હું કેમ રહીશ? "

માહિર - " ઓહ! કમ ઓન, કનીશ તું કાંઈ નાનો ગીગલો નથી કે એકલા ના રહી શકે.  જીવન માં આગળ વધવા માટે આવા પગલાં ભરવા પડે. ને તારે ત્યાં હોસ્ટેલ માં રહેવાનું છે. કાંઈ પણ પ્રોબ્લેમ થાય તો મને કહેજે તરત ત્યાં પહોંચી જઈશ. Now pack your luggage and be ready for your flight, sharp 8 pm. Ok. ડ્રાઈવર તને એરપોર્ટ મૂકી જશે મારે ઓફિસ જવું પડશે. "

આટલું કહીને માહિર ત્યાંથી ચાલ્યો જાય છે. કનીશ અનેક સવાલો ના પોટલાં અને નિરાશા ને બાંધી ચાલ્યો જાય છે. હોસ્ટેલ માં ગયા એને 5 દિવસ થઈ જાય છે પણ માહિરે એક પણ ફોન કનીશ ને કર્યો નથી. અને તેને હોસ્ટેલ ના નિયમ મુજબ ફોન કરવાની પરમિશન માત્ર વિકલી એક જ વાર છે. રવિવારે કનીશ ફોન લગાવે છે પણ માહિર નો ફોન બીઝી આવે છે. એક જ વાર ફોન કરવાનો કેમકે પાછળ બીજા સ્ટુડન્ટ ની લાઈન હોય છે. આવું લગભગ 2 મહિના સુધી ચાલ્યું. ટેન્શન ના થાય એ માટે તે ઘરે પણ કાંઈ જણાવતો નથી. માહિર રેગ્યુલર રીતે તેની ફી, અન્ય ખર્ચ માટે ના પૈસા મોકલાવે છે પણ ફોન નહિ!!! જાણે કોઈ તેના ઉપર ઉપકાર કરતુ હોય તેમ. માનવ સ્વભાવ મુજબ હવે કનીશ ને પણ વાત કરવામાં રસ નથી. પણ તે આવું કેમ થાય છે તે ગમે તે રીતે જાણીને રહેશે તેવું વિચારે છે. આમ કરતા એક વર્ષ વીતી જાય છે. હવે કનીશ પણ ત્યાં નાની જોબ કરે છે અને પોતાનો ખર્ચ ઉપાડે છે. ભાઈ ના આવેલા પૈસા સાચવીને રાખે છે તેમને પાછા દેવા. Thank you for your help and sympathy. એવું એક ચિઠી માં લખીને પૈસા એક બેગ માં જમા કરે છે.

સવારે કૉલેજ માં એક નોટિસ બહાર પડે છે કે બાજુના એક જંગલ માં પિકનિક નું આયોજન થયેલું છે. અમથાય લાઈફ માં ચીલ મારવું જોઈએ એમ વિચારીને કનીશ પણ પિકનિક માં જોડાય છે. પિકનિક 10 દિવસ પછી હોય છે.

સવારે મોબાઈલ માં એલાર્મ વાગતા માહિર ને યાદ આવે છે આજે કનીશ ની ફી ભરવાની છે પણ એ પહેલા ત્યાં પૂછવું પડશે ફી માં કાંઈ ચેન્જ તો નથી ને?  મોઢું ધોઈ ને હાથ માં કોફી નો મગ લઈ ને માહિર કૉલેજ માં ફોન લગાવે છે. કનીશ નું નામ અને તેનો બેચ નંબર જણાવ્યા બાદ સામેથી થયેલા રિપ્લાય માં તેના હાથમાંથી મગ પડી જાય છે.

Clerk - sorry to say but while picnic our bus met with an accident and so many students died. Mr. Kanish was also there. 

માહિર ને એક તરફ ઝાટકો લાગે છે ને બીજી તરફ ડેવિલ મન એમ કહે છે જાવા દેને એમ પણ તને એનાથી છુટકારો જોતો હતો.  એક દિવસ બે દિવસ એમ કરતા કરતા માહિર આ આઘાત માંથી બહાર આવે છે. ઘરે પણ આ વાત જાણવા મળે છે. માહિર ને પસ્તાવો થાય છે કે એને સ્કોટલેન્ડ મોકલી ને મેં આ શું કર્યું ને બીજી તરફ તે ભગવાન ની મરજી સમજી ને મન વાળી લે છે. મરવાનું હશે એના નસીબ માં તો અહીં પણ મરી જાત. મારે હવે આ બધું છોડીને મારી લાઈફ આગળ વધારવાની છે. કંપની ને ટોપ લેવલ પર પહોંચાડવાની છે. So forget all the things and go ahead!!

Chapter - 2

After 2 years

The successful CEO of Lawrence Company is going to receive the Best Performance Award today. The function is being held at a five star hotel in Miami. Among the famous people, Mahir gets awards for which he has worked hard day and night.

Mahir - "Thank you so much every one. This is my biggest achievement and I really thankful to my parents, my employees, my friends and all those who corporate me. Specially big thank to Rahim, our super hero and my little champ kani ......."

Mahir's speech seemed to be incomplete and he went down saying thank you once again at last. After the speech, everyone is partying and having a lot of fun. Rahim comes home at 1 o'clock. Mahir's mood was not good even at the party. He seemed upset. Rahim felt like asking some questions so he took the initiative.

Rahim - excuse me, boss.

Mahir - What happened? Why are you standing there? Go and sleep
Rahim - will you go to sleep?
Mahir - No, I can't sleep because of noise. I will stay and sleep for a while.
Rahim - ok. Then I'll sleep too. Even so, I want to ask you a little bit.

Mahir is no longer in danger, Rahim and other friends are sitting around him. So much sunshine, the chatter of friends, the sound of water, the slowed down music, the shoulder of Rahim coming out of it all, on which "Mahir" was written.

Mahir has no words to speak....

After leaving the party, he sat in the car.

Rahim sat in the car, put a pendrive there and got out of the car before Mahir could say or ask anything.

આજે માહિર માટે ઘણો મહત્વ નો દિવસ છે. એની કંપની માટે નવા એમ્પ્લોયી લેવાના છે એ પણ એકદમ જોરદાર ટેલેન્ટવાળા. ઘણા દિવસ થી જાહેરાત આપી હતી એની ફેમસ કંપની માં કામ કરવા માટે લાઈન લાગી હતી. ફટાફટ સૂટ પહેરીને લકઝયુરિયસ કાર માં ઓફિસે પહોંચે છે. આહા!! સોફા પર, લોબી માં વેઇટ કરતા નવયુવાનો. માહિર જાતે જ આ કામ કરવા માંગે છે કેમ કે આ લેવલ પર પહોંચીને એ ખોટા નકામા લોકો ને હાયર કરવા માંગતો નથી ભલે ને રાત પડે!! Who cares?? સેક્રેટરી એક પછી એક ને મોકલે છે. યુવાનો યુવતીઓ અંદર જાય છે ને બહાર આવે છે. એક કલાક માં 49 રિજેક્ટ થાય છે ને 5 સિલેક્ટ. હજી બીજા 2 મળી જાય તો પછી ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ ત્યાં જ બંધ કરી દેવા છે એવુ વિચારતો હોય છે માહિર ત્યાં.. may i coming sir? ઘોઘરો અવાજ કે સાંભળવો ય નો ગમે તો જોવો કેમ ગમશે? લગભગ 24 વર્ષ નો નવયુવાન કેબીન માં દાખલ થાય છે. માહિર તેને બેસવાનું કહે છે ને તેની પ્રોફાઈલ જોવે છે. "નો એક્સપેરિએન્સ!!! આ તેની પેલી જોબ છે??" પહેલી નજરે તો રિજેક્ટ જ ગણાય પણ તોય જોઈએ શું ખાસ છે? પ્રોફાઈલ મુજબ તેનું નામ રહીમ છે. દેખાવ માં ઠીક પ્રેસેંટેશન નું કામ એને આપવા જેવું લાગે નહિ. અવાજ પણ કબૂતર જેવો. પણ કોન્ફિડન્સ સારો. કાંઈ પાછો પડે એવો લાગતો નહતો. નવા ફૂટડાઓ ને પણ ચાન્સ આપવો જોઈએ એમ વિચારીને માહિર તેને હા પાડે છે ને પછી કાલ થી હાજર થવાનું કહે છે. રહીમ ની સાથે બીજા 5 મળીને ખુબ જ મહેનત થી કામ કરે છે પણ રહીમ તેમાં લીડર બની જાય છે. માહિર ને પણ તે એક દિવસ ના આવે તો ચાલતું નહતું. રહીમ ની મહેનત ને ટેલેન્ટ થી આજે માહિર ની કંપની એ ટોપ માં સ્થાન મેળવ્યું. ખુબ જ ઓછા સમય માં તેણે પોતાની જાત ને સાબિત કરી દીધી. માહિર માટે પણ તે ખુબ જ ખાસ બની ગયો. માત્ર ઓફિસ પૂરતો નહિ, ઘરે આવવા જવાનું, બહાર જમવાનું, કલબ માં જવાનું બધામાં તે માહિર નો સંગાથી બની ગયો. રહીમ ત્યાં ભાડે ના ઘર માં રહેતો હતો પણ માહિરે તેને પોતાના ઘર માં રહેવાનો આગ્રહ કર્યો. એમ પણ બન્ને એકલા હતા આતો સાથે કોઈક હોય તો વાતો શેર થાય ને મજા પણ આવે. રહીમ ને પહેલા અજીબ લાગ્યું પણ બોસ ને નારાજ નો કરાય એ હેતુ થી તેણે હા પાડી. માહિરે તેનો સામાન ઉપર ના માળે શિફ્ટ કરાવી દીધો. હવે બન્ને ઓફિસે સાથે જતા આવતા, લંચ ડિનર બધું સાથે. ઓફિસ માં બધા રહીમ ને બોસ ની half girlfriend કહેતા.

લોરેન્સ કંપની ના સફળ સીઈઓ ને આજે બેસ્ટ પર્ફોર્મન્સ એવોર્ડ મળવા જઈ રહયો છે. મિયામી ની ફાઈવ સ્ટાર હોટેલ માં આ ફંકશન આયોજિત છે. મોટા મોટા લોકો વચ્ચે માહિર ને એવોર્ડ મળે છે જે માટે તેણે દિવસ રાત મહેનત કરી છે.

માહિર ની સ્પીચ અધૂરી રહી ગઈ હોય તેવું લાગતું હતું ને તે લાસ્ટ માં thank you once again કહીને નીચે ઉતરી જાય છે. સ્પીચ બાદ બધા પાર્ટી કરે છે ને ખુબ મજા કરે છે. 1 વાગે માહિર ને રહીમ ઘરે આવે છે. માહિર નો મૂડ પાર્ટી માં પણ ઠીક નહતો. તે અપસેટ લાગતો હતો. જનરલી બોસ ને બહુ સવાલ પુછાય નહિ પણ રહીમ ને પૂછવા જેવું લાગ્યું એટલે એણે પહેલ કરી.

રહીમ - "excuse me, boss."

માહિર - "શું થયું? કેમ ત્યાં ઉભો છો? જા સુઈ જા?"

રહીમ - "શું તમે સુઈ જાશો?"

માહિર -" ના મને ઘોંઘાટ માંથી આવી ને તરત ઊંઘ નથી આવતી હું થોડી વાર રહીને સૂઈશ."

રહીમ - "ok. Then હું પણ પછી સૂઈશ. એમ પણ મારે તમને થોડી વાત પુછવી છે."

માહિર - "ઓહો! તો તમે મારું ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ લેશો? પૂછો આજે જે માંગશો એ મળશે?"

બન્ને હસે છે.

રહીમ - "તમે સ્પીચ માં કની.. એમ કહીને અટકી કેમ ગયા? કોણ છે કની?"

માહિર ને તરત પહેલા ગુસ્સો આવે છે કે કાલ આવેલા છોકરા ને મારી લાઈફ માં પડવાનો શું શોખ?? હું જેનું નામ લવ એને શું પંચાત?? પણ પછી પાંચ મિનિટ કનીશ ની યાદો ને મન માં વાગોળે છે ને ભાવવિભોર થઈ જાય છે. નાના બાળક ની જેમ રડવા માંડે છે. રહીમ તેને શાંત પાડે છે ને પાણી આપે છે. માહિર કાંઈ જ બોલ્યા વિના રહીમ ને કનીશ ના રૂમ માં લઈ જાય છે. બન્ને ભાઈ ના ફોટા થી રૂમ ભરાયેલો હોય છે. માહિર રહીમ ને બધી વાત પહેલેથી કહે છે. બાળપણ થી લઈ ને આજ સુધી. વાત વાત માં સવાર પડી જાય છે. માહિર આજે ઓફિસ થી રજા લે છે. રહીમ ને પણ કહે છે પણ તેને પ્રોજેક્ટ નું કામ હોવાથી તે જાય છે. ઓફિસ માં રહીમ નું મન એક જ જગ્યા એ ચોટેલું હોય છે કાલ રાત ની વાત. રહીમ માહિર ને ખુશ કરવા પુલ પાર્ટી નું આયોજન કરે છે એટલે જ તે બહાનું બનાવી ને ઓફિસ આવ્યો હોય છે. મિયામી ના એક બીચ પર તેનું આયોજન કરે છે ને તેના જુના ફ્રેન્ડ ના નંબર શોધી ને તેને પણ ઇન્વિટેશન આપે છે. માહિર માટે સરપ્રાઈઝ હોય છે. બીજે દિવસે બન્ને ઓફિસે જવા તૈયાર થાય છે. "આજે કાર હું ચલાવીશ." એમ કહીને રહીમ સીટ પર બેસી જાય છે અને કાર સીધી બીચ પર લાવે છે. માહિર તેને વારંવાર પૂછે છે કે "આ બધું શું છે? "પણ તે હસે જ છે. SOS બીચ માં એન્ટ્રી થતા માહિર ના જુના મિત્રો ને જોઈને આનંદ માં આવી જાય છે. અને બધા જૂની વાતો ને મસ્તી માં ડૂબી જાય છે. થોડા કલાકો વાતો કર્યા પછી મિત્રો પુલ માં મસ્તી કરવાનું કહે છે. માહિર ને તેવું બધું પસંદ નથી કેમ કે તેને પાણી થી ડર લાગે છે. પણ બદમાશ મિત્રો એને પરાણે સ્વિમિંગ સૂટ પહેરાવે છે ને પુલ માં લઈ જાય છે. રહીમ આરામ થી ત્યાં બેસીને બધું નિહાળે છે. મજાક મજાક માં હાથ નો ધકકો લાગતા માહિર ઊંડા પાણી માં ચાલ્યો જાય છે તેને તરતા નથી આવડતુ. મિત્રો મજાક માં મશગુલ હોય છે કોઈ તે તરફ ધ્યાન દેતું નથી. રહીમ ની બાજ નજર ત્યાં પડે છે ને તરત શર્ટ કાઢી ને પુલ માં ઠેકડો મારે છે ને માહિર ને બહાર કાઢે છે. બધા ભેગા થઈ જાય છે. માહિર ને હવે કાંઈ ખતરો નથી રહીમ ને બીજા મિત્રો તેને ઘેરી ને બેઠા હોય છે. ખુબ જ તડકો, મિત્રો નો કલબલાટ, પાણી નો અવાજ, ધીમું પડેલું મ્યુઝિક ને બધા થી અલગ તરી આવતો રહીમ નો ખભો જેના પર "માહિર " લખ્યું હતું. 

માહિર ના મન નો સન્નાટો...... પછી શું??

પાર્ટી પત્યા બાદ ફટાફટ માહિર કાર માં બેઠો. રહીમે કાર માં બેસીને માહિર કંઈક બોલે કે પૂછે એ પહેલા ત્યાં પેનડ્રાઈવ લગાવી દીધી અને કાર માંથી ઉતરી ગયો.

પેનડ્રાઈવ નો ઓડિયો :

"બીજી દગાબાજી માટે સોરી. તમને એમ થયું હશે હું જીવતો કેમ છું ને આ સ્વરૂપ માં? સ્કોટલેન્ડ માં મને એજ વિચારો આવતા કે તમારું વર્તન કેમ બદલાય ગયું? મારે ગમે તે રીતે આ જાણવું હતું ને ભગવાન ની એવી ઈચ્છા હશે ને મારે કષ્ટ ભોગવવા નું હશે. પિકનિક માં ગયા પછી બસ નો જે અકસ્માત થયો તેમાં મારો આબાદ બચાવ થયો પણ કાચ ચહેરા ઉપર ફસાઈ ગયા હતા તેથી ચહેરો પ્લાસ્ટિક સર્જરી ને કારણે બદલાય ગયો. પૈસા ની વાત કરું તો તમારા મોકલેલ બધા સાચવી રાખ્યા હતા પણ સર્જરી માં ખર્ચ થઈ ગયા. અને પછી મેં અહીં આવીને હકીકત જાણવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો. અવાજ બદલવાની પ્રેકટીસ કરી ને આટલા વર્ષ તમારા બિઝિનેસ માં માસ્ટર બન્યો. આમ હું કનીશ માંથી રહીમ થયો. 

હવે કાલે હકીકત જાણ્યા બાદ મેં મમ્મીને ફોન કર્યો અને તેને પુરી સાચી વાત જણાવી જેનું આ રેકોર્ડિંગ છે."

મમ્મી બોલે છે :

"બેટા, તું આટલી જીદ કરે છે તો આજે વર્ષો જૂનું રહસ્ય તને કહી દઉં છું. સાંભળી ને તું જરાય મનમાં ઓછું લગાડતો નહિ તું હંમેશા મારો કનીશ જ રહીશ.

આજથી 22 વર્ષ પેલા જયારે તારા પપ્પા ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા ગયા હતા કામ થી ત્યારની વાત છે. હું ત્યારે સવારે મંદિરે જતી હતી. માહિર 4 વર્ષ નો હતો સવારે વહેલા ઉઠે નહિ એટલે એકલા જ પગપાળા જતી હતી. માહિર ને નાની પાસે સુવડાવ્યો હતો અમે ત્યારે થોડો ટાઈમ ત્યાં જ રહેવા ગયેલા. મંદિર લગભગ 6 વાગે જતી ત્યારે ભીડ ના હોય. અચાનક મને મંદિર ના પાછળ ના ભાગ માંથી કોઈક નો અવાજ સંભળાયો. શિયાળો હોવાથી લાઈટ શરૂ હતી. હું ફટાફટ પાછળ ગઈ તો જોયું એક નવજાત બાળક ને કોઈક નિર્દય આવી રીતે મૂકીને ચાલ્યું ગયું હતું. એ બાળક બેટા તું મારો કનીશ. જાણે તૂં પણ મારી આવવાની જ રાહ જોતો હતો બાકી કોઈ એ તને કેમ જોયો નહિ? પહેલા તો તને લઈને પોલીસ સ્ટેશન જવાનુ વિચાર્યું પછી યાદ આવ્યું કે એ લોકો તારા માતા પિતા નહિ મળે તો તને આશ્રમ માં મૂકી આવશે. તારો શું વાંક?? ભગવાન ના ઘર માં મારાથી આવું પાપ થાય તો ધિક્કાર છે મારા જીવન ઉપર. પછી ફટાફટ તને ભગવાન ને ચડાવવા નું દૂધ પીવડાવ્યું. મારા દુપટ્ટા થી વીંટી ને ઘરે લઈ ગઈ. મેં તારા પપ્પા ને આ વાત ની જાણ કરવાનાં ઘણા પ્રયત્ન કર્યા પણ ત્યારે ત્યાં ખુબ જ વરસાદ ને કારણે ઘણા દિવસ સુધી સંપર્ક જ ના થયો. અને જયારે તે આવ્યા ત્યારે આ બધી બાબત થી ખુબ જ ગુસ્સે થયાં કેમ કે એને માહિર ને જ પોતાનું સંતાન માન્યો છે એટલે તને એકલા માં સાવકો કહે છે. માહિર એ પણ તારો સ્વીકાર કર્યો પણ પપ્પા સામે હું હારી ગઈ. પણ તૂં ચિંતા નહિ કરતો અને રડતો નહિ પપ્પા ધીમે ધીમે માની જશે. અને તું અનાથ છે એવો વિચાર કયારેય પણ મન માં લાવતો નહિ દુનિયામાં કોઈ અનાથ નથી કેમ કે તેના સૌથી પેલા ભગવાન છે. બીજા બધા પછી આવે."

મમ્મી રડે છે. ફોન કટ થાય છે.

કનીશ : " સોરી ભાઈ મને પણ આવી ખબર નહતી. મેં તમને દુઃખ પહોચાડ્યું હોય તો દિલ થી માફી માંગુ છું. તમારો આ step brother તમને જીવનના દરેક step માં સાથ આપશે એવુ રહીમ, સોરી કનીશ નું પ્રોમિસ. એટલે જ હું માહિર નો રહીમ છું."
